How to get guests to actually upload
The QR code alone does not fill a gallery. These eight habits do.
Put the QR code where people wait: the bar, the guestbook table, restroom mirrors, the back of the ceremony program.
One code per table beats one poster per venue. A code on the table card gets scanned; a code on a sign at the entrance gets walked past.
Give your MC or best man one line: "Scan the code on your table card and upload your photos tonight. The couple sees them live on the screen." Say it once at dinner and once before the first dance.
Start the slideshow early. Seeing their own photo on screen is what prompts the next ten guests to upload theirs.
Use three to five photo challenges, not twenty: "best dance-floor shot", "the couple from across the room", "your table selfie".
Print the short link under every QR code for guests whose camera app does not scan.
Tell older relatives it works in the normal camera app. A twenty-second demo at the family table is worth more than any sign.
Set the gallery to private and say so on the table card. Guests share more freely when they know the photos stay within the wedding party.

How do wedding guests share photos without an app?
Guests scan the QR code on their table card with the phone camera. It opens your wedding gallery in the browser, where they pick photos from their camera roll or take a new one. No download, no account, no password to type.
When should I set up the wedding photo gallery?
Create the event when you order your stationery, so the QR code can go on table cards, the welcome sign and the ceremony program. Creating the event is free, and nothing needs updating until the day itself.
Can we show guest photos live at the reception?
Yes. Open the slideshow mode on a laptop connected to the venue TV or projector. New uploads appear automatically, which also reminds guests to keep sharing.
Is the wedding gallery private?
You can set the gallery to private so only people with the QR code or link can see it. You can delete single photos or the whole event at any time, and everything is deleted automatically 30 days after the event.
What does wedding photo sharing cost?
Creating your wedding event is free and every event includes free photos. If your guests upload more, anyone at the party, whether you, your parents or the best man, can unlock unlimited photos for the whole wedding in one tap. There is no subscription. The unlock is an optional one-time payment of €29.99 (no VAT charged under § 19 UStG).
Do guests keep access after the wedding?
Yes. The link and QR code keep working after the day, so guests can upload pictures from the drive home and download the ones they love. You download the whole collection in one go.
